Tyre repair kit in a handy and convenient case is a recommended piece of equipment that should be present in every car and a safety measure for a driver in case of a puncture on the road, which is the most common cause of tyre damage. Using the kit, which consists of 50 pieces of 10 cm long cords, an adhesive applicator, insertion tool for the cords, a knife for cutting the cords and a lubricant, it is possible to repair a tubeless tyre that has been punctured by a nail. The cords included in the kit are used for temporary (emergency) repair of punctures in the front of the tyre without the need to dismount the tyre. Instructions for use After locating the area of damage in the tyre, apply the adhesive using an applicator. Next, pull the cord through using an insertion tool and cut off the excess. Application: For repairing tubeless radial and bias-ply tyres. It is possible to continue driving immediately after the repair, but it should be remembered that this type of repair is a short-term solution. NOTE: For a complete tyre repair, it is recommended to use e.g. a MINICOMBI insert or a repair plug according to the relevant tables. For safety reasons it is not advisable to carry out sidewall repairs using repair cords.
